* Each of the Working Group sessions are pieces of a whole, designed to deepen and gather our learning in a collaborative way so that we can produce a collective expression of our vision and commitments for the future. As such, the Working Groups will be interacting directly with and responding to the presentations by Peter Rollins and the responses by the other presenters.

This gathering is designed in such a way that the Working Groups are the core of our time together. Peter’s role is to provoke, challenge, and fund our imagination, but the real work is ours. In the end, we will produce a document like a white paper or a programmatic essay that points the way toward a new missional engagement for our local communities.

Hey Ryan:
I want to be there! I want to hear Peter Rollins and the others. I do have doubts about whether an old codger can actually hoist himself out of his ancient past and onto the new generation’s wavelength. But before you guys run away with new-fangled ideas about mission, you might find there were SOME helpful things your grandparents did.
Logistics! Hollywood is a heck of a commute from Redlands. Where are your out-of-town visitors going to hang out over Sunday night? I can drive it, but I’d rather not. Cheers!
