Join us for two events this October! Our next re-church gathering is taking place October 3-4, 2006 in Columbus, Ohio. This event immediately follows the second annual National Conference on Innovation. I attened last year and was very impressed. That’s why we’ve decided for this year to hitch our wagon to this partner event by our good friends in the Ohio Conference.

Keynote Speaker:
Alan Roxburgh, well-known author of the new book, The Missional Leader: Equipping Your Church to Reach a Changing World. With 30 years experience as a pastor, urban ministry director and seminar professor, Roxburgh now works with the Allelon Missional Leadership Network in the formation of
leaders for the missional church. He has also written, The Missionary Congregation, Leadership, and Liminality and The Sky Is Falling: Leaders Caught in Transition

Other Speakers:
Ryan Bell, pastor of the Hollywood Seventh-day Adventist Church and national coordinator of the Re-Church Network. Bell has written articles for Ministry and the Adventist Review on ministry in the postmodern context and often speaks for young adult events across North America and internationally. He will share a vision for supportive networking among pastors and ministry leaders working for change.

Monte Sahlin, vice president of the Columbia Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and chairman of the board for the Center for Creative Ministry, as well as adjunct faculty member at the Campolo School for Social Change, Eastern University, Philadelphia. He will present a summary of new research from the FACT 2005 survey.

This event will begin at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, and conclude at noon on Wednesday, October 4.
